Your certainly not wrong, I've never ran mts before these geolanders. I was expecting it to be very bad in winter but I was pleasantly surprised. If they do release these in 255/85r16 thats what I'll be switching to when this set is worn out. I was also surprised how smooth they ride compared to my previous duratracs and k02s. The carcass of the tire seems softer then both of those.

Lots of similarities with all of us lol, I also used to run the 286/75/16 G003’s. I went back down to 265’s because of the braking/acceleration. I should have gone skinny but I was worried about them looking too skinny.

I had 285s on my old truck, then 35s. Skinnies work alot better in my Experience. I actually really like the way they look, it's very different and you don't see it often. It's hard to argue with how well they work, but most people build there vehicles for instagram these days. I don't mean you I just mean in general.

Yeah I gotcha! I don’t have social media anyway lol, just Tacoma world. I agree though. That’s why I stuck with the 265’s for now…because I use the truck and drive it all over North America.

Negative, video posted today of them on a Jeep Gladiator. Saw them on the jeep personally. Lots of more sizes coming that are not EV specific.

Just came across some manufacture pictures. Tread looks similar but sidewall and block design has changed.

It's a good thing they didn't change the tread much, everyone around where I live absolutely loves the at3w. All tires cost alot these days, that doesn't factor much into my decision making process anymore.

Omg that link says the 255/85/16 will be C rated :D:D

This all sounds too good to be true…

I think either the weight or the load rating must be wrong. It says they’re C rated but 58 pounds. Those two don’t match based on all the currently available 255/85/16’s. Even the 255 G003’s are only 54 pounds.

There's a chance it's true, the current wildpeaks are heavy tires

Yeah the geolandar G003s are surprisingly light for an MT, possibly the lightest. On the other hand, wildpeaks are some of the heavier A/T tires so 58lbs for the 255/85r16 doesn't necessarily surprise me. The sidewall on these new ones kinda seems like a blend of the previous AT3Ws and the Toyo Open Country AT3s

Quick side by side comparison. AT3W on left, new AT4W on right. Tread design on the new tire seems like it was stretched so all the blocks sit at a more diagonal/pointed angle.

I have 40K on my 255/80r17 AT3W and was planning to get Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT for my next tires once these are worn out a bit more. I have nothing but good things to say about my tires (I’ve had 3 sets). Now I’m unsure about the MC Baja Boss after seeing these come out :annoyed:
