    I had a car seat in the back of my pre-Tacoma Xtra cab (1991) before I bought my double cab. It of course didn't have the D-rings for car seats and my testing showed the rear seat belts were not the ratcheting/locking so I had to get a locking clip that kulysses mentioned.
