    I have been at the post office for 23 years and I don't make anywhere near that much. Somebody's pulling your leg. And carriers may only be on the street for 6 hours but they spend all morning sorting their deliveries and working a lot of OT.

    Im looking for a job is the Post Office still hiring Full Time Delivery people or they going to a Part Time no Benefit workforce doesnt seem like the exam is available anymore.:confused:

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    i worked as a temp at a PO for 13 months and took the test. at that time ('05) down here the city carriers started at $17.75/hr...definitely a lot of OT to make 8500 a month after taxes
