New Fog Light Indicator

    I found out how to make the headlight indicator the fog light indicator and it's fairly simple. :D All you have to do is remove one diode and splice two wires together. The toughest part is disassembling the gauges and getting to the wires under the fuse panel in the engine compartment. I'll post a how to later this evening when I have a little more time.

    I didn't have time for the "how to" yet but here's a video of the working mod.

    there was a guy on TundraSolutions also doing this mod...splitting the fuse box was a PITA when i did it (twice) for my foglight mod. i think the only one i'll do it for again will be if someone figures out how to kill the TPMS light under there.

    I had to do it twice too. Once for this mod and another time for the Fog Light all the time mod. It's not too bad if you hold all the clips open with some thin steel (like feeler gauges) and then tug around all four corners with pliers to pull it out.

    You could just remove the LED for the TPMS when you have the gauge apart.

    saw this in the cheap mod list has anybody else done this seems like a good mod just looking for some feedback on how it went

    It works like a charm and is fairly easy to do.
