I just replaced my factory fog light bulbs with some 45W H10 bulbs from Nokya. I turned them on to see if they were working and the bulb housings were getting pretty hot! I should have probably tested with the factory bulbs before swapping, but is this normal? I think the factory bulbs are 42W. I wouldn't think it would be much of a difference.

My fog lights get pretty hot too. I think it's normal. I have stock bulbs, btw.

For fogs I think you should stay with 35w or it starts to burn the housing. I know some people who put 55w 8k in there and burned the housing real good. My fogs with 35w hids heat up pretty good but its a normal thing.

lol... did you touch them or something?
I would think driving and the wind would help cool them down some... idk,,,

Yeah, I was checking them out and noticed they were warm. I can touch them, but they would probably burn me if I left my hand on it for about 5 seconds.
