    Those approach and departure angles look outrageous. Hopefully they refine it a bit to look more bad ass and less like a toy.

    if it ever happens and comes with a solid front axle this site is gonna lose a shit ton of tacoma owners. the fj will also die. if toyota wasn't such a bunch of idiots the fj would come with solid front and it would be selling like mad just like the damn jeeps. if the ford comes with ifs it's just another fj in different clothes, maybe better, maybe not!

    solid axle has nothing to why the jeep is so popular. it is a cult, a status symbol, a "look at me I drive a jeep" factor. Only a small percentage care that it has a solid axle up front. I bet 98% of jeep owners couldn't tell you if they have IFS or a solid axle.

    on the overall i would agree that you are very much likely bang on with that. the meaing to my comment is that it would give jeep haters that like to wheel a great alternative that has the right front end.
