In 3 years my wife's car will be paid for and I'll be about ready to retire. I'm going to buy a new truck. The Ranger will hopefully have a few guinea pig buyers reviewing its pros and cons. I'm impressed with Ford's ecoboost turbos as long as they can hold together for the long haul (~200,000) miles. Maybe by then Toyota will have additional offerings like 8+ speed ATs, TC, or SC, to help with HP and torque at slower speeds. A lot can happen in 3 years. I'm not bashing or touting any truck but glad one more manufacture is planning on building something to give me more options when it's time for a new one.

Its been repeated so many times already but that is the International Version and our market will have all new sheet metal to fit American tastes.

Ford has been a well funded corporation shoving crappy cars down the throat of America for years. All based off of their "Made In AMERICA" slogan. Well where are they made....China, Taiwan, I don't really know.

    Working on it.
The current ranger looks like dog shit. If they bring it more in line with the Raptor or standard F150 styling it will sell like hot cakes.

All my Fords have passed 200k miles under my ownership. I'm hoping my current one gets me 300k before the NJ road salt has its way with it. They've always been reliable for me and I like their styling.

A midsize pickup with the 3.5 ecoboost would clobber the market. Toyota needs to pay attention.

No most American's are mostly stupid, sentimental, fools. That don't know any better then to buy the same shit year after year.
