Well first off, you 2 can bugger right off. Hey, guess what...It's called an opinion, I'm allowed to have one, and I don't give 2 flying f's what you 2 have to whine about.

Even more HAHAHAHAHAHAing at Ford: https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/com...actly-no-one-knows/ar-BBL65mY?ocid=spartanntp

You're damn right. I HATE Ford. Screw em. Screw the crap they make and I hope they go out of business and quit putting their shitty products on the road.

Nevermind the fact I worked on cars for 12 years. Yeah, nevermind that. I have ZERO clue what I'm talking about, at all.

Just a few of my reasons.....

#1. Ford likes to say "Best selling line of trucks". This refers to the ENIRE fleet of "F" type trucks. F150. F250. F350. F450. F550. F650. Pretty easy to make big numbers, when you include 6 different trucks in your claim. Only Auto maker to pull this kind of BS. It's laughable. And idiots who, like you two, know jack shit about cars/trucks gobble it up like it's fucking gospel. "Wow, Ferd is great, they sell so many trucks". No. Not really. They just lump a lot shit together to make IT LOOK like a lot, and sell fleet vehicles.

#2. Their quality SUCKS. Do you 2 ever actually pay attention to the shit broke down on the side of the road or are you 2 bro'ing out to much blasting down the highway at 90 you can't actually take in a view of something? Have you ever seen the Ford Transit rear suspension? There is your "Ford Quality" right there. You can have it. You can keep it. You can call me a hater. They make junk.

#3. Go work on a Ford. Then go work on your Toyota. Tell me which one you have a better time working on. (Hint: Toyota = User Friendly most of the time. Ford = giant ball of Fuck You. Try it. Go take the starter off your Tacoma. Now...go take a starter off a F150 or Explorer or other crap. Or how about we race. I'll take a Tacoma, you 2 take a F150. See who gets done first.)

    Go Toyota.

    Or go the fuck home.

I recently drove the Ecoboost Mustang and was not impressed at all. It was very clunky and gutless unless you spooled up the turbo. The lag was bad and everytime you slowed down the kickdown back to first gear would make you do a head bob.

GM sells the Colorado WT trim in chassis-cab config through a -$300 "box delete" factory option. You can go buy one from the larger dealers, fully street legal with 7000 lb towing capacity. Ford may well do the same. It explains why Ford is testing the truck on the open road in chassis-cab configuration, without any common upfits like a dump bed or panel container.

Go have your opinion elswhere, sorehead. That or change your diaper. You're way too worked up. Maybe my mechanic didn't enjoy working on them but I enjoyed driving them. Chances are it, like other models, is gone for good and this new design will be full of committee crap and design/manufacturing flaws that take years, if ever, to work out.

Yes, the VW GTI MKV I own drives much better hands down. Since that is my baseline thats what I was expecting but it fell short.

Mechanic hating a thing that breaks, and thus pays his bills, seems odd.

I had an MK7 GTI. Lag was tremendous as well. Hard to beat a GTI for price and performance, but a eco boost Mustang is not comparable IMO

Wow. Some people need to go to their safe place.

I have fleet experience in my recent past. Dozens of trucks, not a single experience like most folks per model year. I like Ford. I like Toyota. They both have advantages. Both can go terribly wrong. One costs more and one costs less. Deal with it, Ford will continue to sell the most pickup trucks in North America for a long time if they continue to keep fleet customers happy. The funny thing, they are not the cheapest fleet vehicle. Not even close lol.

I've never understood going to a site dedicated for one thing, then touting how great something else is. What kind of responses do you expect?

Drive a Lincoln MKC or Explorer with the 2.3 L Ecoboost. In the Mustang Ford was chasing the top end and lost a lot down low on the 2.3 L. Drive with it in one of their SUV's though and it's a totally different engine. Lots of low end torque. Not saying the 2.3 L will blow panties off, but it will outperform the 3.5 L 2GR if they go with the tune from their SUV lineup.
