I have not used this specific product, but typically galvanize and paint do not work together. When we have galvanized street lights or signals painted, the contractor has to apply an acid wash and then an etching primer before painting, otherwise the paint will just flake off. That's for hot-dip galvanize though, I am not sure how the cold dip will work.

Yeah thats the part that worries me. Once sprayed it can not be painted. Can says it can be used as primer so I would think it should work but after initial excitement, I am thinking if its flexible coat not sure how its gogin to hold enamel paint on the top.
Well no stoppign now.
Wasn't there one member from Upstate NY that used some kind of Zinc hardcoat on the underneath of the truck, and that thing looked like brand new despite being from 2005 or something like that ?
