Yeah, they should've introduced them in 08.

Thanks man! I do like the 15 front clip a lot better, yours looks fantastic . I should have taken before pictures of the frame. I actually had inch wide holes forming in the sides of it.

The headlights are aftermarkets I baught off eBay. Here’s a link
    https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/322967838645

As far as drive shafts go if haven’t changed them from the original factory set up, yet.

Sweet looking truck, it sounds like you also have a really good dealership.

Other than the main parts you see (grill-hood-bumper-fog lights- headlights) I also had to replace the reinforcement, several bumper brackets underneath, and the hood latch. The hood scoop insert was also a separate piece I had to buy. It probably totaled out around $1400 including getting everything painted, I assembled everything myself. I also made some money back on my old parts. That TRD pro grill alone was priced at $370 I bought 90% of the parts off eBay and a few others from a dealership. This is the link right here that I got most of my info from for the conversion! Good luck man! In my opinion it’s worth it for the facelift. Makes it look like a new truck.

All trucks with rusted frames from 2005-2010 are covered under this new coverage from Toyota.

What about a 2011? Though I think my frame looks ok. Thankfully.

I believe they changed how they coated the frames (hopefully for the better) starting in 2011 that’s why those trucks aren’t covered under the extended warranty.

Thanks! I have a local Hendrick Toyota I took it to here in Charleston The conversion wasn’t bad, it’s pretty much all bolt on besides painting the new hood and bumper. I found a nice write up here on Tacoma world that I used to piece together what I needed. Almost everything I purchased off eBay.

No. Those trucks just havent rusted out enough yet haha.

I think all of us will be victims of frame rust/replacement.

Sounds like a nice set man, did those energy suspension body mounts make a noticeable difference?

I think so ,kind of stiffer ride . But it could be the new frame . Since there is so much new stuff it all needs to be broken in! You can google pros and cons of rubber vs poly bushings .

This is an 07? I don't think so unless you changed out the hood, bumper, grill, and lights.
