Well my 2011 taco failed the frame test this week, the whole frame is dang near perfect with barely even any surface rust except for one place on the inside driver side in the front it has a hole. So they ordered the frame, said it would take a month or so to get. Anyways in the mean time I would like to get a plan for when it does come in and I get the truck back with the new frame.

For you all who has had there frame replaced , is the frame paint any better on the replacements than it was on the originals? And what’s everyone putting on there new frames to keep them protected? My 96 I used por15 10 yrs ago when it passed the test and I’ve kept it covered with fluid film on the inside and outside both every yr since , and I plan on keeping this one sprayed with fluid film to but with it having “new” paint on it , what should I paint it with without taking it down to bare metal? Por15, chassis saver etc is all for roughed up metal with surface rust etc.. thanks!
