Welcome buddy! Any idea what you're looking for? 4wd TRD/OR/Sport V6/I4 etc...

I'm in Orlando and see a bunch in car lots around here. I can check them out if you'd like.

Ideally, I'd love a 4 door TRD anything with 4wd, V6. Manual or Auto doesn't matter and under 100k miles. I can spend up to $30k but I'm trying to stay closer to $20k. I'm hoping to upgrade, wheels/tires, suspension and eventually a supercharger and all supporting modifications. I'm down in Orlando and Ocala every month and Jax every few months so I'm searching across the state. My family lives up in GA so I'm looking as far north as there. There seems to be a ton of great trucks in the classifieds here but they're all out west!

And thank you, that'd be awesome!

No worries mate, I'll keep and eye out for a 4x4 and let you know if I see a clean one.

    Any color? Any year?

Anything other than beige. I'm shooting for 2010 and up but I'll go a little further back for the right truck. Are there any shops that are "local" that are a reputable to go to?

I've gotten good service from Ideal Service Center, they're almost into Kissimmee on the south side of Orlando, I've only really gone there for alignments though, I'm my own technician/mechanic so have near no experience with shops doing work.

A friend goes to Byron's Auto shop close to the same area and has always been satisfied.

Thank you. I'll look into them! I typically do the small stuff, brakes, oil, rotating tires etc. I do however, intend to learn more over time for obvious reasons. I have a family member that's a master tech with Lexus and has been a toyota/lexus tech for decades and has essentially told me Tacoma, or anything with the 4.7 V8 in a lexus or toyota and you can't go wrong. I played with some Hilux's overseas and fell in love with how indestructible they were. Ha

I have an Uncle who was a Toyota master tech for 30+ years, he had a 86 Toyota truck with over 650k miles original everything pretty much, and still has a first gen tundra with the 4.7 that's close to breaking 500k with the original motor and auto transmission! I did the last T- belt water pump seals service on it, everything looks good. Wish the 4.7 was an option in the Tacoma, them again if it were Toyota wouldn't have sold any Tundras...

That sounds very familiar! He's got a LX470 with 500K+ miles and apparently services Tundra's, Lexus LS's, 4Runner's etc in the same range. Mileage doesn't necessarily scare me but a lot of people out there suck, so I'm picky. I've had multiple Lexus' and they've all been phenomenal and then I've had my fair share of German sports cars that have made life interesting at times. If I could only talk my wife into a 4Runner or older Land Cruiser or LX I'd be thrilled but she loves her GEN 3 Durango and I know I'm going to be replacing a transmission at 100k-115k miles haha

Ah yeap, Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge/Fiat got a D average in build a car school and were completely absent on how to build a transmission day...
