But really, you need some Ironman sliders.

 

Got the sliders last week and installed them today. I had to remove the diff drop I had previously installed or otherwise come up with a bunch of spacers for the sliders. The kit went on super easy following the YouTube video instructions (the written instructions are kinda useless). The gussets and welding all looked great. Heavy duty.

A couple pics. One showing the front and mid plates. The second showing the rear plate protecting the exhaust. My truck is filthy from a recent Rainier trip.
The green hulk sticker was half peeling so I helped it off. Not a fan of the branding but fan of Ironman products.
I’ve got the FCP kit, awning, awning room, en suite, toilet box thing, and now skids. Everything has been well built and nicely priced.

Skid plates, yes. Skid marks, not so much.

 

Well…. Skid plates purchased before the 25% sale ended today…..

 

Whats the point of them including the diff drop in the FCP but you have to remove them with the skids?

Ironman doesn’t supply a diff drop kit. They did supply a carrier bearing drop. I put in the diff drop after lifting the truck. But not convinced it does much of anything.

 

IronMan mentions in the product description that the skids protect all the way back to the transfer case. Can you confirm this? I dont see that the transfer case is being covered by the skids in your pictures.
