I picked up my skids last night went to install them on my truck after work and I can’t do it until I take the diff drop off of my truck because the bracket for the differential it’s too low does not allow the mid skid to sit properly… in the picture you can tell that my front skid is fine

This is a tempting kit to get… I was looking at the sliders too but want a set with kick outs… after off roading over the weekend helped me see what I need…

Ran into same issue. I removed the diff drop spacers and bought new (shorter) bolts to replace the long ones. I'll be interested to see if you encounter any new weird noises after removing the diff drop and putting on the skid plates.

I have an odd grinding noise that shows up on cold starts when I put it in reverse and maybe if I turn the wheel. I do not see anything rub on the plates nor do I see anything else rubbing. It's weird that it only occurs when I first start up and the truck is cold.

Those look nice! How bad is the front skid to get on/off?

That sucks. Mine arrives Friday. I thought it covered the TC. I read it on their site and it says:

Exactly, the description is a bit misleading.

I did purchase and install the skids and am overall happy with them considering my style of off road use.
