Good old memories. I'm not to fond of the valley. Always had problems even just driving threw it, seemed like the hoodlums would look for me lol.

Simi is gettin way crowded aswell. Takes me over 20 minutes to drive from madera to stearns during busy hours sometimes longer depending if there was an accident.

As for me getting a street bike I'll pass lol. I'm not a street bike guy. Dirt bikes all day long but there is less people driving around in the desert.

What sucks is that there is still a ton of traffic thru simi even after adding a lane to the 23 / 118

Yeah I remember even before I moved away from Simi about 7 years ago how bad the traffic was getting. I can only imagine how bad it is now!! I dont know thought, after all those long drives on the 405 and the 5 and stuff, I was just used to all that traffic. Now living in a rural town, driving 3 miles to work is long for me!! haha!!:D

    Gotta love that traffic man!!!!:burnrubber:

Dang, I think those are the streets its in between! Its been so long since I lived out there that my streets are out of wac!!! I mean everyone should know what I'm talking about cause its been there since I was like in grade school. I'm just curious if they are still there?

Okay yeah thats what I was hoping, that they were still there. I mean they have been there so long, I dont see why they would stop doing it. To me its like a Simi land mark.:D I never did find out who or why they did that? I just never thought to ask anyone even though I lived there for like 14 years!!! Do any of you guys know behind its history?

Oh sweet thanks man!!!! That article pretty much summed it all up!!;) Dang, it felt like it was there way before 98' cause I graduated high school in 99'!?!?! Hmmm, time flies I guess after high school. I do miss Simi though. I lived in Chatsworth before that but I was kinda to young to remember any of it, just bits and pieces. So Simi is pretty much where I grew up and I am proud of it!!!:D I'll end up back there eventually cause my dad is going to give me his house after he passes away (knock on wood) cause I only have one other older brother and he makes bookoo bucks so he doesnt need it. So maybe down the road if we are still on TW, we can have a meet near Simi or something!!!

I think venture harbor would be a cool meet. Tons of parking for the harbor or the beach and good food and music to chill and hang out. Not to mention cold beverages..... Coronas :D
