    new to the forums and already found a great thread on 2nd gen spark plug change. Looking forward to saving some money by doing it myself.

    Funny-I was just in there yesterday for the 30,000 mile service too but the $400.00 quote for the plugs, etc. was a bit steep for me. I am gonna do it myself within the next 500 or so miles.

    Wow, 30,000 miles on a 2011 already! Good for you... I hear you on the cost at the dealer... Since nothing breaks on a Toyota with it being serviced on time (at least in my case), paying a 'lot' for the 30,000 mile services is 'cheap' insurance that they will honor the warranty and not blame other 'non-Toyota trained' mechanics if something fails.
