New from texas

Whats up 24 from texas name is Travis got a 2012 prerunner Auto 4cyl about 6 months ago did not get a 4x4 because i drive ALOT for work and i have another project in the works for a true trail rig. I am now wanting to start modding it it for mild wheeling/camping trips pretty much have a full list of mods i will be doing already and what brand i will be going with for each but also had a few questions after reading the forums over the last few months i may have looked over or just not understood what i was reading so excuse any redundant questions.

Just to give a idea of what i am going for and plan to do and not clutter up my noob thread i will just give a quick over view and try to get a few questions i have in here to try to avoid multiple threads while just getting parts list and my understanding of the parts worked out.

Basic goal of my Prerunner is to be able to go do mild wheeling with my wife and her father until i get my 884runner up and running. The prerunner will always be my camping rig for the grasslands we live near but i want to be able to have fun with it till my 4runner is done also.

Mods planned-

PowerTrax No-slip Confused on how this will work with the Auto LSD and traction control though.. And have not found any info that i could understand to the point that i knew it would not be a issue.. I just seem to get the feeling that if i get wheel spin while its locked in that i will loose all my power and just... well be stuck for sure

I will be getting a set of 285/70r17's If i had the money i would for sure get some cooper STT's But will likely end up with some treadwrite guard dogs for the price.. they are really hard to pass up even if they last 1/2 as long as a better tire they will work untill i have the money for some coopers or if they are as good as the reviews i read maybe just stick with them

3'' Toytec lift (Spacers and add a leaf)

1.5 Spider trax wheel spacers... I don't really think i will need them but they just really look cool and i dont want to rub on the a-arm and will be keeping my Texas edition wheels (I love them why i got that package)

Will be pulling off factory mud guards (Almost got ripped off this weekend at grasslands anyways) And the step bars will be coming off also.

Gas cans and mount for them and light bar with 3-4 lights not sure what im going to do with cans or light bars yet have not looked in to this part but both are on back burner while i get other things done anyways unless i come across a good deal

Anyways thats it for my long intro thread nice to be here seems to be a awesome place everything i have planned came from info from here! Will get some pictures up soon but truck is still stock other then the dirt its covered in from this weekends trip to the grass lands...
