Spec D headlights (garbage, Do not buy) replaced bulb with H7 80W Osram Off Road bulb so I could actually see. The lights they send do not put off any light at all and it's impossible to see anything at night... TOYO Open County AT III's (smooth ride, not loud) with Matte Black 17-In. TRD PRO Wheels Plasti dipped emblems and Bull Bar (Lasted about 2 years, need to spray them again)
My stock speakers finally went out, so I bought some new ones. I took the door panel off and the new speakers do not fit. The stock speakers have a plastic mounting plate that screws into the door and the tweeters are attached to a metal piece that screws into the door...
How do I mount the new speakers?! Here's the new speakers

Here's the stock speakers/tweeters. The tweeters are connected to the metal bracket.

Here's the hole for the bottom speaker, but there's nothing to mount the new speaker to...

bro slow dow you gotta’ learn to figure this stuff out it’s not rocket science… open the tweeters and look for a template or read the instructions and see if a mounting hole size is listed or if you can just measure the template

Just bought these adapters... not sure if they're the right size... can anyone verify? 2013 TRD Sport front door lower speakers and upper tweeters. no speakers in the back access cab area.

Yeah u need the adapters for the 6x9 speakers

The 2 3/4 speakers are incorrect. You need tweeters and a crossover to work with your 6x9 speaker in the frontyour Rear doors can use 6.5 speakers. I recommend a coaxial speaker 2 way or 3 way on the rear passenger doors so that they can deliver the full range of sound in the rear

For my tweeters I just cut the harness off the factory ones and connected to the new ones.

What size are the upper door tweeters? I have a 2013 Tacoma and want to do a complete door speaker replacement. I found some supposedly "plug and play" speakers on Amazon with a sensitivity of 98db which is a bit high to match with the 90-92db 6x9s I want to match them with.

EDIT: I should Add that Crutchfield has mostly 3/4" to 1 1/4" tweeters for this location (with modification) but also lists a set of 2 3/4" midrange speakers, so I'm a bit confused.
