Not sure About the multi fit part of it, I have never had fuel wheels before. They are supposed to be 6x135/6x5.5

What are the wheel specs? Maybe the centerbore is too small, not letting the wheel sit completely on the hub.
I have also seen some people use ET lug nuts. They have an extended shank at the end that goes through the lug hole before seating on the wheel.

It seats on the hub good did not need the center ring. I seen the extended one just not sure the bore on the wheel is big enough but that might be my only hope. I have never had this issue on any other wheel that I have purchased in the past.

The lug holes aren't large enough in diameter to accept the E-T lugs, you'll need longer studs.
    (or have the rims machined)

Typical Tacoma issue, you need extended thread lug nuts.
