I just updated the front end with new grill and lights from ExtremeTerrain. Took 2 hours not bad for my first mods. Those headlight bolts under the light behind the tire well were a bugger.

    What headlights are they?
Just got my truck back from the body shop. They reconditioned used headlights and I know they won't last more than a couple of years.

Sorry to revive such an old thread but I wanted to know how the headlights have been? I’m looking at new housings because a frog managed to die in my current housings (cheap from Amazon).

I love the look. No fogging after about a year. I don’t drive much in the dark. The light output isn’t the best but it gets the job done and I’m happy with them.

Output shouldn't be a problem, I did the 2nd gen headlight upgrade so I just need a housing to put the bulbs in. Not really sure how the frog got in the housing as he sure as hell wasn't in there when I installed the housings:rofl:

Lol then these would be good lights for you. Just double check for frogs before the install. Lol

Remember, the poor light output of most aftermarket housings is not caused by the bulbs. It's caused by poor optics. More powerful bulbs won't help poor optics.

True, but parchment paper housings would be better than the faded ones I replaced before these.

Agreed also. That's one reason why many people who replace severely oxidized OEM headlights say that aftermarket ones are better than OEM - even though it's not true.
