    I like the fact that this grille a.) is black in the center and b.) has a mesh look to it.

    I know you quoted it from somewhere but it looks like they are already in production. Still a Taco people, it will still sell and as it was said before...it is a grill. Maybe it will keep more crap out of the engine bay or trap more crap to be cleaned off.

    Actually, it will probably be more work. That honeycomb pattern ties into the upper and lower sections of the grill in many many spots. You'll have to cut and sand each of those to Satoshi this one. In contrast, the prior grill has 5 small slats on the top and bottom.

    The only timesaver will be the center section. When you cut that out there will only be two holes on the sides instead of 4. But, it doesn't look like there is a flat section to the center spot like in the prior grills so you will not be able to use the factory center piece to cut out a plastic section to fill these holes.

    IMO, the prior grill will be easier to mod.
