They've had some local competitors ripping them with negs on sites like WOT.

Try to go directly to www.riflegear.com and navigate to "Upper Assembly Parts"

I don't see individual repair parts for the BCG, might want to give them a call (Monday, they're going to be swamped the next 3 days) and see if they will sell just the ejector parts.
They do have an LMT bolt for $70 (out of stock on the Daniel).

Sell that hobby level piece of shit and purchase a real rifle.

BCM, LMT, Daniel Defence and Colt are your friends. True war horses.

Noveski, Larue and Knights Armament make great rifles but they cost 3x's the amount and won't do anything a mil-spec rifle made to the TDP (technical data package) won't for.

The jury is still out on PSA and Spikes Tactical but things look good so far.

There is a LOT of bad AR advise in this thread....

    A) The TDP is 60 years old. It's MINIMUM spec. It really takes a crap AR to not meet TDP intentions. Besides, no one outside a few manufactures (Colt, Remmy, FN) even know what's in the TDP anyways. Everything else was reverse engineered and guessed upon. You're not going to find much that doesn't suit 99% of needs out there for sale anymore. 20 years ago, it was a different game, and none of the existing players were in it except Colt.

    B) There are no "Top Shelf" ARs. Robs chart really f'd up folks who now try to shop for bragging rights. That wasn't the intention for the chart. Buy the rifle that fits your budget and leaves cash for ammo and training. Having a $2k wall hanger doesn't really do much for you. I've been in classes where all the "Top Shelf" ARs were being bitches and the frankenguns were eating trash ammo like froot loops... Every firearm will malfunction sometime or another. NO firearm goes bang 100.0% of the time, this is why we do malfunction drills endlessly. Parts break, yadda yadda yadda.... Most of the chart is BS stuff anyone can do (Staking castle nuts and gas keys? 5 mins and you're "Milspec!")

    C) Sorry you got a bum bolt. It happens. Send it back and get a new one. For those who are saying BCM is better than PSA and LMT is the cat's meow.. Toolcraft makes them all. The important part is that it is made from Carpenter 158. (Carpenter is a steel company). As far as MPI/HPT, Eh, I could care less personally, HPT actually weakens the bolt, and the MPI is to detect the damage from the HPT. Batch testing is fine by me because I understand modern manufacturing practices. 60 years ago, it was a different story...

    D) Just send the bolt back and get a new one. If you want to put a new bolt in your carrier, that's fine too, whatever floats your boat. After a few hundred rounds, I personally don't like playing musical chairs with the bolts and barrels unless you have a set of headspace gauges. I leave the pair matched until I break a bolt or rebarrel the rifle, then I check for headspace. The carrier, eh, doesn't matter. The gas rings are the tolerance part of the carrier, and you can swap those if you really think you need to. Also, you'll see advise on not lining up the grooves on the gas rings etc. That's bunk too.

    E) You have to try really hard to put a bolt in an AR carrier upside down...

There's no sense in me paying over 2K for a weapon I don't know much about... I found this gun at a good price so I can build it how I want and still be under a grand...this is a entry level starting point for me...maybe later I'll upgrade to a colt or lmt

Just upgrade what you got... There's no reason for the boutique brands for 80% of the people out there.

    Thank you.

Interesting that the chart is occasionally updated as "certain manufacturers" make changes, but when other manufacturers make changes they never show up.
    I was wondering that.

There's a reason Pat Rogers is banned from M4C. He's both a fake and a fraud. Take his stuff with a grain of salt.

TOS is a POS these days anyways..... I try to stay off there.

I'm glad i've stepped away from the AR game, and gotten into the Ak game.

    Much simpler, much easier.

This is why I have never recommended a dpms. With that being said I would either upgrade your extractor and install a black o ring or take it back or sell it, learn from the mistake and buy a quality rifle.

The furniture will have nothing to do with how the gun functions. Either upgrade the extractor or buy a quality bolt and it "should" run fine

I'm not a complete dumbass...just like the stickers on my taco doesn't give it anymore horsepower...it just looks good...and while yes I'm pissed my new gun broke on me I'm not gonna just trade it in already...after a few mods I think it'll be a quality AR and still be under a grand

rhetorical question: why does it have to be that so many "AR" discussions/threads (on most all forums) end up being johnson measuring contests amongst "brand x" vs. "brand y" vs. "brand z", etc?... the OP is just looking for advice on fixing a problem/defect, no need to denegrate his rifle w/out even handling it... hopefully he can replace the bolt under warranty and his rifle w/ work great for him... can't we not provide "AR" help to new owners w/out going on a tangent on "brand" wars?...
