I am new to the forum and look forward to meeting everyone. The only thing I have ever drove since I was 16 is a Toyota Truck and I don't why it has taken me so long to join a forum. I currently have a 04 Doublecab that I really like and will probably keep for a while. I look forward to meeting everyone

Cool. It's funny when I look on the forums makes me realize it's a small world. I am a member on a motorcycle forum and when you get to talking to people it's funny how close you actually are to where the live. Good to meet you

It is a small world. DWalden on here lives in blue ridge, you may have seen his truck driving around. It's a white 2nd gen access cab lifted on black wheels. Is yours a 4x4? I found some cool trails near you in the Rich Mtn WMA in Cherry Log. Good camping spots too.

I think I may know who he is. My truck is 04 Black SR5 4x4. I have rode Rich Mtn area several times. It is a great place to ride. I have not been up that way in a while we used to ride Jeeps there a lot. They did have part of it shut down due to erosion control or just not wanting people up there. If we are talking about the same place.

The way we went in is down by the gravel plant or either through Stanley creek road. Is that the same place your talking about?

I turned off of 515 onto rock creek rd. (at rock creek church) then followed that till it turns into stanley gap to the FS roads (338 and 295). So yeah same trails. Some of the side trails are still shut down. The long FS road is pretty fun w/ some decently steep hill climbs, not too difficult but still fun. I would like to go check out the quarry back there thats down at the end of FS 338. Last time I was out there we were running out of daylight so i didnt get a chance to go all the way down 338. We stopped at the campsite near the top of the mtn on 338. I did get all the way up 295 in 2wd to see if my buddy's prerunner would be able to get up there for future camping trips. I drove the last half of 338 in 4wd though where the gravel runs out at one of the gates.
