    Hello everyone,

I've been eyeing a dependable car after having my E90 BMW for 15 years. So after speaking with the wife, she's the one who told me not to buy a Ford or Dodge (since I keep my vehicles for 15+ years) and since we have had 2 Rav 4s, I think it was only appropriate to buy a Toyota.

Well I dropped the cash in the beginning of March on a 2021 Voodoo blue TRDOR DC but the sales man told me I would be waiting months... Well he called me and said because they could change the color and package on a Tacoma they were next in line I might be getting it beginning of May! (Not holding my breath after readying the thread "how long did your Taco take" haha...

Anyhoo, I wanted the lane sensors, so I had to go with the premium with the leather, 360 camera, etc. I'm kinda disappointed that Toyota didn't give Canadians the option to add LED headlights (the only way for us to get them is to get the TRD Pro model)

I'd like to look into them, but they might be waaay too expensive.

Anyhoo I was very involved in the BMW E90 forums, I used to help people with tools and just maintenance around my area for free, so I'm hoping this community is the same.

Thanks guys! I'll have to do a bit of research on what to do maintenance wise....the BMW was always maintenance hungry, but I got rid of it with 260K and the only money put into it was a new clutch at 259K... BUT I took care of it...Also, I will never buy another BMW... I'm sick of replacing turbos, high pressure fuel pumps for other people...heck even full engines that just decide to blow for no reason!

Thanks for the Ontario thread! I'm checking it out right now!

You've come to the right place, lots of great information floating around! I think you will be much happier with the maintenance difference, but the fun factor will take a hit in return :turtleride:
