Hi all new guy here from Pennsylvania ,

Just bought my 1st Taco a 2017 Taco TRD Sport 4x4 Crew cab. So far, I love it; the transmission shifts smoothly great power I think, but when you slam the gas it gets up and goes (I read about people complaining about the 6 speed issues nothing here so far) MPG’s are good only have 300 miles on the taco got 18mpg around town and just went to the shore and back and averaged MPG 21. I think the ride is great and it handles great for a truck, love the sound system and the touch screen and dam does that AC blow ice cold and I love the electric back window, I do wish the tilt steering went a little higher. I really wanted the TRD Off-road but they would not budge on the price. I got a good deal on the Sport though they said there is $1000 rebate and I got the price down from $36k to $32,500. I had the dealer working on numbers for 3 hours they said they needed 166 sales for the month I was sale number 166. They completely paid off my old suv seeya bye no more Nissan’s for me ever. I considered the Colorado and the Jeep JK, I owned 3 Jeeps in the past, but I do a ton of surf fishing and driving on the beach and hauling kayak’s so a midsized truck just made for sense for me, had a f150 Crew cab in the past, but did not want a full-sized tank again. The Chevy was more comfortable and little bit roomier, but it was just not attractive at all, but I love the look of the taco a ton better even with the fake hood scoop. And with the Taco it holds its residual value very well and does not depreciate a ton like most automobiles, only other vehicle that does that well is the Wrangler. Well I hope the Taco lives up to its bullet proof reliability. Looking to learn more about the Taco on the forum. Already ordered Bilstein 5100 shocks, selling the stock tires Friday and using that cash to buy AT tires, ARB air-locker kit is on the way.
