    Greetings to all,

The very first thing I want to do is thank everyone who helped create the Tacoma Towing Bible. It has been a great help to me.

I own a '98 2.4, auto. Taco that I love dearly. It's the most dependable vehicle I've ever owned. My wife has a 2004 Avalon that is a fine piece of machinery also.

I'm seriously trying to decide if I really want to use my truck for towing a lightweight pop-up camper (that I've yet to buy). I live and camp in the mountains here in beautiful Western North Carolina. So I'm going to use the information I get from here to make the decision.

I hope I can add a little to the discussion from time to time but I'll probably just sit back and try to learn as much as I can for a while.

    Thanks, Rip

I see we have gun and food areas here too.

I think that covers about everything.

We were lucky...a lot luckier than others.

Small limbs and leaves in the yard and some big wind. Most of the damage was north of us. It's odd that these bad storms seem to come from your way now:eek:.

Yes, you were very fortunate. Many of my friends from that area were hit bad, trees fallen and power outage. Alot of home and auto damage. We have had hail here twice, my poor truck wishes she could go back to Virginia. haha

Im anxious to see what will happen when storm season hits.
