    Ok so im new here and i been looking at getting a tacoma for the winter as my ss silverado wont get around in the kansas winters..So i put my 06 zx6r streetbike on craigslist sunday and this guy texted me today. He wants to trade stait across he is a younger kid that wants to go fast is what he told me. So what all do i need to look for when i go to look at this truck heres his ad its a 2002 ext cab 4x4 with 170k it has the 2.7 and its a automatic.

    Looks clean, but drive it around and try a carfax also...

    Not saying he lied to you, but you can't be too sure. I would try to get something along the lines of a carfax just to be sure.

    If he is younger and "wants to go fast" I would not buy that truck.

    Lord knows how many times he's tried to go fast in it. Not to mention all the other things immature kids do with trucks.

    I think hes one of those kids where his parents pay for everything and he dont care if he loses money casue it aint his to begin with

    This, I'm one of the more laid back kids at my school when it comes to driving, and I've slammed it into a ditch, driven it at 100 mph, highcentered it to the point that only the trailer hitch and front end were on the ground, sunk it in mud up to the doors, and romped on it some. I wouldn't buy it from me if I knew all of this. Let alone some of my friends vehicles :D

    I get 21 mpg in mine at best, there's no way he's getting 27 in 4x4. Maybe 25 in PERFECT conditions.
