    2013 tacoma restoration build
    In the worls
Hi all, I've been coming Here for advice for a while now waiting for the right time to pull the trigger on a build which is being forced on me now due to issues with my truck. I own a 2013 tacoma trd sport double cab long bed 4x4 that needs all.new control arms, shocks, steering rack, front cv axles, interior, and to top it off my ac is leaking amongst a number of things that have gone neglected for too long now and need attention whether I like it or not. I have already started with new interior that I am working on right now. I ordered a set of leather seat covers the good kind and they look pretty good so far. A bit too big in some areas but I will deal with that before im.done. I have also started ordering suspension parts. After looking around and having a budget to stick to I bought the deepo 2 inch long travel kit which is more than enough for what I will.need it for. Now I am trying to figure out the correct front shocks as well as the rear . I want an aggressive look with wide tires which I really need help with. I am a fabricator by trade but I've never done offroad stuff. If you gave me a lamborghini I would know what to do what widths work etc but with the truck stuff I need some advice because I want my front and rear stance to be the same if possible I don't prefer the look of slim tires so if someone can enlighten me I would appreciate it. My thoughts are a 35 x 14.50 x 17 tire on a 17 x ??? Wheel normally I would use a 13 inch wheel for the rear if a car but once again I have no idea what will work so I'm looking to you all to point me in the right direction. One thing I want to do but I don't think the shocks I want will work for this are the ride shocks..I don't see them in extended travel and I don't have a lot of time for custom stuff so I was going to go with King unless something more affordale..lol.. will do the job. One thing I don't want are steel bodied shocks. I am hoping for aluminum I've seen the rusted kings and others so I hope that helps. I did order tge axle shafts from deepo and was about to do what no one has done just to do it and buy the alibaba shocks just to see what the quality is on their claimed higher end stuff.but in ordering parts for other things the quality was no Bueno on some rather important parts which has permanently fouled my thoughts on buying from companies producing functional metal based products.thta arr sold by 50 other companies on one site.

I hope that helps give an idea of what I'm doing and what I need your help with. There is a wicked creations tacoma that is sick looking and I want a similar look for my truck. I am metal and composite fabricator and may also be doing some changes to the exterior of the vehicle. I like th gen 3 front end mu h better on lifted vehicles sorry to the 2nd gen owners but it just has a more aggressive look so eventually I will be going 3rd gen front or possibly make a 4th gen conversion kit.

Thank you in advance and if this is in th wrong section I do apologize.

Welcome! I respect the energy and motivation to work on what sounds like a cool project. There's various subforums here that may be relevant to different parts of what you're doing. A word to the wise though, slow it down and proofread before posting, and use paragraphs. Your wall of text is a bit intense and hard to follow as it's written. Glad to have you and good luck on your project!
