trading in a 2yr old leased prius for a tacoma this week

love the gas mileage i'm getting, do lots of road trips with my son,
but the little hybrid doesn't really match well with my lifestyle

can't haul my kawasaki anywhere, can't get off the pavement, tailgating is a challenge, going shooting with the guys is a challenge ... tho i relish being pulled over in the prius with a hatch fulla guns

deciding between the TRD Off Road and the TRD Sport, and i can't say i really know the difference

i'm looking at a 4x4, double cab, short bed ...

do i just go for the base value model, and do my own mods, or is it worthwhile to pay for some goodies off the lot ... ?

i'm taking a bit of a beating on the price, as the trade-in on the hybrid is $15k, but the payoff is $20k

    such is life

well, now i know the difference ... one has a hood scoop, the other an electronically locking rear diff and brake assist

    anyway ...

i got a sweet Magnetic Gray Metallic Double Cab Tacoma Sport on Thursday,
picked up my 8 year old son from his momma, and hit Disneyland on Friday

love the truck, the kid loves it just as much
put about 500 miles on it so far, highways, surface streets, canyon roads ...

so far, love the truck and love the site
