Thanks. I am waiting to hear about a 2013 in some car dealer in Skagit County. I'm narrowing it down a bit so the numbers are small.
Access Cab, 73" bed, Auto. SR5 or TRD...The 4 door long bed will make it hard to get around in my garage, but I could work with that too.

I have not had any issues with my 2017 trans,
IMO, issues reported are based on expectations of precious experiences with older/other model trucks. They held gears longer and had fewer of them, and many people with trucks are use to low torque producing V8s that can sustain pulls and acceleration at low RPM. More gears means more shifting, lower displacement usually means higher RPM torque curves (unless you talk about forced air induction, that’s a whole other topic).
As for the hood, there is a long list of people on this thread that would love to trade, plus some cash for a skewp lol. You won’t have a problem exchanging with another member.

Test drove above vehicle yesterday and checked backseat "comfortabilityness" by placing a booster seat behind driver. While I don't mind a back rub, I didn't realize a kid would be able to kick me from age 4+ so, DCSB it will be. I am now looking i4 vs V6. 4wd doesn't seem to be in the cards.
