New guy looking for answers!!

Hello from Bowling Green, KY. I’m new to this I own a 2017 TRD OFF ROAD. I have since replaced the grille with a pro style. This is my 4th Tacoma. I had a 09,14, a 16 developed trans problem traded for my 17.

I’ve done a few cosmetic updates like: removing all badging on outside, new rough country rear bumper, the pro style grille, custom wheels and I bought a black out kit for all the ugly chrome inside the cab, it had to go.
Now I’m starting on performance I’ve got a BANKS PEDAL MONSTER on order be here meet Thursday. Cold air intake will be next. My big question is exhaust
I would like to update that but don’t want it to sound like a 4 cylinder with one of those annoying mufflers on it. Anyone got any suggestions or any experience with this. I’m looking at the BORLA AND MAGNA FLO.

I won't be too much help here, but I've been talking to the guys at rogue offroad regarding parts for my 3rd gen I'm picking up this weekend.
They've been super helpful, maybe they can give you the answers you need?

Might want to change your title … help usually means you are stuck and need assistance.

 

I run an S&B CAI with an AFE SS 3". There is still some V6 tone as you approach the upper RPMs, but it is much throatier in the lower RPMs. It does not drone like a lot of the lower end exhaust systems do.
