I've been infatuated with a Toyota truck ever since I first saw Marty McFly's badass truck in Back To The Future.....and with the Tacoma since like 2001.
My dad had an old T100 he used as his DD and farm truck, then traded for a G1 Tacoma. That went ka-put with the rusty frame recall, but he lucked out on an old body Tundra for a good price.

Fast forward to 2004, I'm in Iraq seeing Iraqi police and US SF zipping around in Toyota four door trucks. Again.....badass!

So 11 years later from that, here I am, a family man now....tamed by my high school sweet heart, and reliving my childhood through my two boys. A variety of Toyota vehicles under my belt, which oddly enough, were all black or white in color....but alas, no truck.

I've been reading and studying the forums for a while now. Lots of great information! I am but a simple man, with few wants and needs, but man they add up! I am eyeing a truck that meets my wants and needs.....a MGM DCSB 4wd.
Gray because I DO NOT want another black or white vehicle.
    DC because of my boys.
    SB because I like.
    4wd because....because.

I am planning to drive to this particular lot (which is about an hour and half away), but with snow and ice creating a frozen hell, I might have to wait. But we all know what happens with wanting to buy a Tacoma and you wait.....they vanish.

Things I already have a plan for:
    Step tubes (for the kids)
    Seat covers
    Weather-tech mats
    Weather-tech front and window deflectors
    Plasti-dip emblems
Custom grill emblem (autobot symbol - because I'm a big kid and my boys will think its Transformer )

Well, just think... the drive back will be a lot nicer! In fact, I like to wait until I decide it's "bad enough" outside then go for a drive. :D Welcome to TW!

    Thanks guys!

I know what you mean by 'bad enough' weather. With my Highlander, its just a FWD, your 'bad enough' is my 'had enough'. I've gotten stuck in my dads gravel, but hill infested, driveway during snow...and in my own yard during a snow/ice storm last year. It's embarrassing. Had to have my neighbor that has a 4WD Tacoma (company vehicle too!) pull me out of my own damn yard. My wifes family has a farm in Indiana, and I ALMOST got stuck trying to get up a small, but slightly muddy embankment. I hate it.
And being a home owner has proven many a times that a truck is needed...even with just a 5ft bed.

    I'll consider this. Thanks!

    Picked it up last night!
The Wet Okole seat covers arrived Wednesday.
Weather Tech floor mats arrived Thursday.
The planets aligned and the Tacoma gods granted this user a truck on Friday!
