New Guy Trying to Decide

Hey Guys,

Been browsing the forums for a good while now and I have decided to make the dive and purchase a Tacoma. My only thing is I am trying to figure out which year to get. I am good with financing and am good with going that route for a newer model but based on a lot of what I have seen the first gen Tacomas are way more reliable and much easier to work on? Is this really that true and are the newer ones just as reliable (capable of making it to 300K with routine maintenance and bullet proof motor)

If you have any recommendations on which sub forum to direct me to to get more info I would appreciate it. I look forward to purchasing my Tacoma and becoming part of the community.
