You'd probably have to buy the coil over from a 3rd party and provide for the dealer to install. They probably won't warranty the parts but should warranty the instalkation. This should be discussed and ironed out prior to the sale and every dealership is different.

You might even drive the truck stock for a few months first just to ensure everything is in perfect working order before you modify the truck. Don't worry, the Toyota aftermarket won't disappear anytime soon.

It's definitely possible, depends on how cool your Toyota dealership is but chances are you'd get overcharged versus ordering from a supplier online.

ok...thanks guys.....So yesterday, dealer here says they can do a lift kit up to 3" that'll maintain factory warranty etc...I'm assuming he's referring to a Toytech kit....and he quoted $1200 ....which is pretty close to all four Fox coilovers plus the bushing replacement.....is maintenance of the Toytech kit more trouble than what it's worth?

Keep in mind you're getting charged for a complete truck so if you swap shocks or wheels and tires before delivery, make sure to get the takeoff parts too.

You can recoup some of the cost by reselling the stock parts.

Nothing wrong on that end, just no longer the ride quality you were searching for @Reddrum

Agreed, you'll get the height and it will be done but willing to bet it will be a spacer and block lift. Ask for specifics on which lift they would install, maybe even see if they already have a lifted truck on the lot to see and take a drive in.

jsinnard...yep, definitely...I'm selling tires and wheels as well.... stevotivo12...so Toytech kit reduces ride quality vs the coilovers.....really good to know.

Depends on which Toytec kit, they sell both spacers and coilovers, spacers reduced ride quality.

But if they're not locked into toytec, ask about @stevotivo12'S suggestion as well.

Any problem with just installing the new front coil overs and leaving the rear factory Bilsteins in place?

Not a problem per se... ride quality might not be the best since you would have two completely different struts with different dampening curves and all that. Its best to have a single set of shocks if you can rather than two different pairs

The TRD OR comes with 5100's, correct? Which are adjustable? Seems I saw 5100's listed in spec sheet...

If your goal is ride quality, your tire choice may also be a factor. The E-rated K-bros are known to ride rough. If you are want the bro-look, without the bro-ride, you should make sure you stick with P or C load rated tires.

Yeah the code is 4600 I believe, but those are non-adjustable
