    Hey folks!

Name's Jack, I'm 18 and just got my first truck...its an 07 Tacoma regular cab base model. 5-speed, 4x2, 2.7L I4...pretty much the cheapest and most accessible Tacoma for a kid going off to college with his bike and kayak like me.

I bought the truck completely stock on 6/26/2013, it had been sitting on the lot for over 2 months despite only having 28,000 miles because it was a stick and no one could drive it. Truth is, I couldn't either! After the paperwork was signed, my Dad drove it home, and then subsequently spent the next 2 nights teaching me how to drive it. Yes, I stalled at a lot of intersections. And 4-way stops. And parking lots. But I've got the hang of it now, and love driving it compared to my parents' automatics.

I have plans for modding the truck over the time I spend with it. My grille and headlights have definitely seen better days, so I toothpasted the 'lights and plasti-dipped the grille. I plan on buying some blacked out headlights. The windows have been tinted since these photos were taken. I also want to put some larger wheels and tires on it - I am thinking the 18" gunmetal 2012 Camry SE wheels with medium profile tires.

Question for you folks out there...how do I go about finding a solid tonneau cover for my 6-footer? I have looked all over online and all the hard ones I see are for 00-04 or are for 5' beds.

Couple more pics for your viewing pleasure...

Thanks for the warm welcome guys...seems like there's a lot of variety here! Some are bagged and lowered, some are baja desert rally ready, some are obsessed with stormtroopers.

@schiz94, $865 seems like alot for an unpainted cover...but I will definitely consider it if it allows me to keep all the OE moveable tiedowns in place.

When I was 18, bought a 1986 Honda CRX that was 5 speed. Could not drive it either, my friend had to drive it home and teach me...
