Welcome to Tacoma World, and Congratulations!!

Do you know a dealership or mechanic that you trust? Or are you handy with vehicles?
Hopefully the CEL is related to the O2 sensor code. Was that the only code that came up?

A thorough inspection by someone that knows these vehicles may be able to identify any issues that you are having. As well as turn up any smaller issues that you can take care of now.

Hopefully the Free Tacoma doesn't have too many, or anybig issues.:fingerscrossed:

    Keep us posted!!!

That’s awesome. Give us some pictures.

Your check engine light, give us the code number and someone will know exactly which o2 sensor it is, and recommend how to proceed. The maintenance light can be reset easily, something you do with the key switch and trip meter button. Search and you’ll find the answer. The air bag light idunno. You definitely don’t want to get hit by a baseball bat shaped like an air bag, believe me that’s what it feels like.

Do you know which variety it is? There’s many.

I saw a Highlander with an airbag light. Guy said it was an easy fix. I don't remember what the problem was.
Sometimes connectors can corrode. But that doesn't necessarily mean this is the issue.

I don't get the lower O2 sensor heater part. Usually the only O2 sensors with a heater are upstream, not downstream.
Not sure if service engine means CEL, but if yes, that sounds a little bad and worth scanning.
Maintenance light can be reset when you do an oil change.

    Welcome to TW.
    1) Reset service light - turn key on to display odometer. Turn key off. Push/hold trip reset button while turn key on. Release when service light is off.
    2) P0037 - replace downstream O2 sensor with Denso brand sensor.
    3) airbag light on - call local toyota dealer and give them your VIN # to see if the truck was included in the airbag light recall in the past. Sorry not much help on this one besides likely a seat sensor issue or the dreaded faulty clockspring.

Unfortunately, the airbag issue is one of those items I would have a dealership diagnose and fix.
