No surprise on your local dealer wanting to bend you over.

If you can find them at that price??? Unless you're just wanting to try and find another dealer local or closer to you, the dealer information (Bommarito Toyota, zip code 63042) was provided in that screenshot from my previous post. As I mentioned earlier, they will ship to you for free (use code FREESHIP at checkout).

I had a chance to go by my BIL's shop yesterday afternoon. The same dealer that quoted me $350 will sell them to him for $225 each. I told him to order them. They will probably deliver them to his shop today. This is a local dealer. With tax it will be about $480 which is a little more than I had hoped for. But a lot better than $750.

Before attempting to install open both boxes, if two, and check to make sure all mounting points are not broken.

The same shit everyone else has.
500$ is well worth the cost of being able to see at night

Not sure how there was any confusion here... online these headlights are much cheaper than the local dealership.

This is part of the reason I hate the "local dealership" model.

Yeah, dealers suck... and try to suck the $$ out of you. Like many other retailers, my local dealer will not honor their own online prices at the counter. I really don't understand that policy. But here in high cost DC area, using the Toyota OEM parts website, I paid about the same at my dealer as your BIL paid. Some remote dealers had lower prices except for shipping... and some wouldn't ship at all. See below my order from back in June... Still expensive, but worth it.

I’ll be doing the gen 2.5 upgrade and will have these aftermarket lights for sale soon.

Picked up the headlights and they are installed. I COULD have done it myself after watching You-Tube tutorials but the guy I use to do my mechanical work had some slack time and offered to do it for $50. It took him 45 minutes. I'd have spent hours and probably broken some tabs. I guess I can't complain. Saturday will mark the 15th anniversary of me buying my Tacoma. This is the most expensive part I've replaced so far.

I didn't do a before pic, but the old lights.

I had some pretty bad paint peeling on the nose of the truck. Basically, no paint for the 1st 4-5" of the hood. Last week I cleaned it up, masked off about 8-9" and sprayed it with white Flex Seal I didn't worry about matching, the Flex Seal has a textured surface anyway. I'm pretty pleased with my $15 paint job. I knew it would never match and almost went with black.

Between the new headlights and cleaning up the peeling paint I'm thinking it looks pretty good for its age. It hasn't been babied either.
