    So maybe you can help me with this decision...I'm powder coating my skid plate and rear bumper...should i do them smooth, rough, flat black, satin, semi gloss, gloss? My buddy thinks I should do them semi rough in satin black.

    I would not spend the money on powder coating a skid plate...unless the truck is never used off road. It is gonna get trashed and you will have spent $$ for nothing.

    Just my opinion.

    Do it in flat black i think it would look good IMO

    As for the skid plate, just use some rough bedliner. Powdercoating will cost a lot and like the others said its useless to spend a lot of money for armor. But for the rear bumper, color match it white! take it to the shop to get it colormatched or painted black
