If i recalled correctly, the seller listed them as 2010 Tacoma TRD Sport headlights.

    Hilarious! Thread of the year!
On a side note, doing the bhlm on the 2gen is far easier due to the rubber butyl. Pre heat the oven to 300 degrees, once it hits 300, shut it off and place the headlight in on a baking sheet with cardboard as the barrier in for 9-10 minutes. I've opened many many sets of 2gen headlamps and never once had an issue. If thats too intimidating, use a heat gun. Takes a bit longer but works. The taillights cannot be baked as its sealed w permaseal glue. You have to cut the lens off with a dremel.

I'm not absolutely certain, but I believe the "black chrome" bezel for the Sport models was introduced with the 2009 year. Models before that had the normal chrome bezel. I remember being confused when in the market for my Sport, as I saw some with and some without the black-chrome in the headlight, thinking all Sports included it. The LED brake light change also occurred that same year (2009) - according to Wiki.

I stand corrected. When I removed my original ones they were in fact the black chrome bezel. When I bought the truck they were already so fogged I couldn’t tell they just looked stock to me.

Thanks to Ostrichsak, who hooked me up with a set of used projectors for a good price, I have got them mounted and my new grille in and am awaiting my pb bumper hopefully arriving next week. I will say I love the look already.

Am I correct in assuming the TRS kits do NOT come with replacement lenses? My 05' lenses are the issue. ( Just like everyone else )

The TRS kits is strictly everything you need to retrofit your headlamps. I found a set of 11' Sport headlamps with mint condition lenses on ebay for a really good price. The housing had broken clips but I only needed the bezels and lenses.
