Howdy, I'm new to the forum. I have a White 2008 DC 6spd TRD with factory black wheels and fenders. I thought I would post a list of upgrades/mods I am doing this spring/summer. To start, plate style bumpers front and rear from CBI Offroad Fab to go with my Warn 8000i. Also an OME lift, TRD exhaust and intake. I plan on installing all the parts myself. From hearing from other people I am a little concerned about trying to compress the new coils myself. I suppose a shop could do that part for me. Any ideas about labor cost of that? O yeah, I just painted the chrome on the grill black also. (trying to get all the chrome off this truck)

I'm sure there are lots of people using any or all of the parts I plan on installing. If you don't mind, tell me how you like it and share pics.

    Thanks!

Welcome, nice truck. If you don't have the right tools to compress the springs, most shops will do it for like 10 bucks, that's what I did.

Welcome to TW. Be careful with those spring compressors. You could get a thumb ripped off. :anonymous: Most folks recommend taking the coils into a shop to have them compressed.

Don't know where I'll be ordering the parts from yet. I have the bumpers on order already. I am doing an in town move in May so I am going to wait until after that to do the installs of everything.
Any suggestions on where to order?
