    Hello everybody!
I created an account because I'm chasing down an issue with my 99 tacoma 3.4 5 spd manual 4x4 with e locker.
From a dead stop when I'm reversing ill let put the clutch the truck will move and than it'll clunk, also a slight tinging noise.
Also does it into first from stop but not as bad, truck has new ring gear/ third member , at least that's what po told me.
I disconnected drive shaft and jacked up truck to check the diff . Felt pretty nice not too much play and yoke spins freely, u joints aren't great but not terrible, replaced Carrier bearing tightened tranny mounts, checked torque on the u bolts . At this point I'm fairly certain it's either a tranny or t case issue.
Any ideas? Truck has 300k miles
