Yeah they’re bilsten 5100s which I believe are adjustable?
Uploading pics of the spacers in a minute.

They do have adjustable levels but for the longevity of the shocks, it is best to let the springs lift the truck and not the shocks. Aka keep the shocks on the lowest setting.

I’d definitely rather they be a little lower anyway. Thanks for the info though. So many helpful suggestions and input!
Attached are pics of spacers and suspension

    Yeah.
The rear has an aftermarket leaf spring and only a small block, with B8 5100s. The front looks to have a small spacer as well, but hard to tell which Bilstein coilover that is - it may or may not be the stock spring. You can kind of see one of the adjustment rings above the lower perch, so it's not sitting on the highest setting. Your drive angle suggests that it is probably not the stock spring. Maybe just removing the blocks front and rear would drop it a little, but to drop it more you'd likely need new coilovers and rear leaf springs.

    Amazing
Yes the suspension feels very stiff so even if I can lower the bilsteins any further, I will probably have to go with the suggestion of getting new coils
Softer would be nice for sure but I’ll see how it feels after I take the blocks out
Is there a consensus that removing these blocks without any other modifications would have no consequences?

    Yeah.
That looks like it just has a leveling spacer on the driver's side to correct the Taco lean (battery, driver, and gas tank are all on the driver's side, resulting in a slight lean -- many leveling kits include a spacer for the driver's side only to correct this). Is there a part number on the front shocks? Looks like they've put a stiffer and longer spring on to achieve the lift. I don't think you can get that much lift just using the standard 5100s. Someone that knows Bilstein lifts might know and chime in, or you can Google the part number of the spring and shock if it is readable.

    Yeah.
Yup, that's a thing, LOL. The OEM TRD Pro front coilovers actually have more preload on the driver's side to correct for it.

If you really wanted to get it closer to stock height, you might be able to find some OEM take-offs on here and go back to stock coilovers and rear leafs -- but I wouldn't do that with the ARB bumper on there, that thing is super heavy.

Yeah, first thing to change is trading this big ARB for something just a little more low profile and lighter weight
Then I’m taking these lift blocks out
I worry about other lift adjustments and suspension later on but ultimately I’d like to lose about 3 inches and 300 pounds
This tacos going on a diet

Pretty sure the original owners gave it this extra 3 inches because they wanted to put bigger tires on it than 32s which I have no intention of doing

    Update:
Front: Bilstein 5100s on 2nd notch up with OME heavy weight springs (adding over 3” of lift)

Rear: Bilstein 5100s with Toyec Boss Leaf (intended for crew cab Tacoma weight, adding over 3” of lift)

Trading the bumper for one that’s a little lighter and more low profile before swapping out the coils and leaf springs and adjusting the Bilsteins so I can get an even 2”-3” all around
Then finally swapping tires for 30”s because fuel economy.

Yeah I believe you lol. Do you know which you plan on getting next? Mine came with a cheapo bumper from Amazon and plan on getting rid of mine as well:rofl:

Found a guy through Facebook marketplace that wants to trade his for mine
It’s in the ballpark of what I was looking for a little more low profile and a little bit lighter
Once the bumper is swapped out, I might get stock coils for the front and swap out my toy tech boss leaves for a simple add a leaf system
I might be the first person in history, actually trying to downsize their Tacoma

It doesn't matter, it's your build/what you want to do with it. You paid for it not anyone else
