Hey all. I just joined the TW community a couple of weeks ago. Got my first Taco truck on December 27th. I was delighted to see there is a photography sub-forum.

I've been shooting for many years. Started way back in high school. Mostly B&W film back then due to cost. I learned to process my own film and prints which I did in a small closet in my parents house. I stopped in my 20's due to not have money and time, starting a family and all. I picked it up again in my early 30's when I got my first digital camera. Been shooting since. I'm 47 now.

I shoot portraits for hire. Mostly actor and business headshots. Lots of off camera lighting. I kind of fell into it after shooting a couple of people and getting referrals. It's a side job to fund my gear mostly. Although, I tapered off this year because it started to feel like a grind.

My wife and I travel a lot and I do a lot of photography on my trips. Pretty much anything that's beautiful in front of my lens. I sell a lot of that work through Ghetty Images. I really like this because its totally passive income. I shoot what I love. Upload it to Ghetty. The select the images they want and I get a check in the mail each quarter if I sell stuff.

Again... new here all around so thought I'd introduce myself. By the way, I actually got my Taco because we plan on doing more domestic camping trips over the next couple of years so I can shoot.

Here are a couple of shots from a trip I took over Thanksgiving week.

What camera do you shoot with? I've been shooting for a year or so and am starting to become proficient. I love the Horse Bend photo! I was just there, but left my wide angle in the truck on accident and missed an amazing sunset (still got great pics, but not as wide as I wanted).
