Hey everyone, just joining after years of reading as a guest. Finally had to join considering how much I've learned from everyone. What a tremendous group of people you are with such selfless give-and-take.

Love my new/used red standard cab Tacoma that I bought on eBay with 19,000 original miles on it! Drove it home to Colorado from Chicago. I still have my 89 Toyota pick up with 230,000 miles on it. It will be going up for sale sometime soon. I've been hard-pressed to get rid of it because we've been through so much together. It's such a great little truck, but I needed something newer. It's amazing to see how different these trucks are now. Really enjoying my new 2013, but I had some upgrades on my old 89 and I am desperate to get them put back on to this new one. Frustrating how little was offered on the standard cabs. I've already done the very easy swap out on the wiper switch to upgrade to the intermittent wipers, and I am now in the process of getting the cruise control installed on my non-wired truck. The back up cameras in the mail as well as the auto dimming, outside temperature, compass rearview mirror. The rearview mirror will go on at the same time I'm putting on the new fog lights since everything will have to be pulled apart anyway. Still want to get power windows, locks, and turn signal/side marker power side mirrors put in. As none of these came with the standard cab. I'm enjoying reading all of your posts and learning so much from all of you.
