Hello! I bought my Tacoma in May last year and wanted to join this community since I know nothing about vehicles, and I want to learn!

Hey fellow Taco owners - this is my first post. I've been wanting to update and modify my 2005 Taco for quite a while now, but today is day 1 of planning. I've followed tacomaworld for a while and have seen some pretty awesome work by some pretty knowledgable people, so I thought I sign up and get some advice from you guys (and gals). My tacoma is factory with no changes.

I want to up date interior, exterior, suspension, and engine:
    radio/add rear view camera/remote start
    Seats
add something that helps minimize road noise
add a lift and update the suspension
i'm thing about adding a supercharge (very curious on recs and opinions)
should I add a chip to increase the HP of the engine?
    New paint job

That's the general overall plan. I'm sure it grow as I go. My wife asked why don't trade I it in for a new one. I asked her how she would feel if I traded her in for a new one.

Any threads you guys can recommend would be greatly appreciated. I'll start browsing them myself but just wanted to introduce myself since I'm sure I'll be asking a bunch of questions along the way. Hoping to do this mostly myself (minus the paint job).

    drew
