    should I kept my factory headlights as spares and buy new generic ones to do the retrofit? In case the retrofit goes awry, I don't want to ruin my factory headlights. The generic ones are like $100 on Ebay.

    Not sure...you could go through the process of purchasing and type in TacomaWorld25 for discount code and check if it works...if not just cancel...make sure you make the T and W capital...first time I didn't capitalize the W n kept not working

    If your wondering if they fit in those aftermarket lights since you like them I would probably give the retrofit source a call or send them an email and see what they would recommend for you. I've never called them but have heard great things from everyone who has contacted them. My Minis worked perfect in the OEM lights... I just blacked out everything but the reflector so I really like the look.

    If you do this, you have now entered a brand new realm of bullshit that you don't want to deal with.... These already have some shitty mounted projectors, and will require some serious mod to make them work right. I mean, if you want to go that route, might as well go dual projectors. I sure hope you have some insane plastic molding skillz...

    x2 i guess it would be possible to make somthing similar in the OEM housing, IF and only IF you could fab somthing up to give a flat surface(rather than the bowl) and then run dual projectors from TRS...but then again sounds like a bunch of unneccesary work...

    Matt and myself would like to thank everyone that made this a pain free group buy. Both of us were extremely surprised at how fast this took off. If I remember correctly there was a big problem last time with people that said they wanted in flaking out when it came time to order, causing head aches for the people that had already ordered and were waiting for the rest of the 25. A lot of people ended up just paying full price to get their shit and not have to wait. So thanks everyone and I hope to see a bunch of slick retro's in the coming weeks

    Well the general consensus seems to be to stay away from the ebay headlamps, so I will have to look elsewhere. Is anybody runnning aftermarket headlamps on their truck, disregrading the ones seen on ebay?

    We aren't saying stay away from ebay lamps in general... Just limit yourself to the ones that look like OEM replacements, just with black bezels. We are saying stay away from the ones with the halos,LEDs, and dual lights shit.
