LOL, today was an interesting day, no joke. So got the PDF up for install, and everything goes smooth. The ECU brackets and everything fit so perfect, guess you do get what you pay for:D

Ok, then on to the Thermostat. It should of been a simple install, accept that my surgeons hands are no longer as agile as they used to be, and I spent most my time fumbling w/those itty bitty nuts LOL..

Now, all done. Start up the truck and all seems good, idle, temp, etc... Turn it off, check coolant level again to be sure im straight. Then it's off for a test drive:

Instantly notice throttle response is better

    truck runs smooth

wants to take off when around 3000rpm

even the exhaust note is more profound

Sound''s like a well tuned truck.

But... yup there was a but. My power windows and door locks became inopperable. Checked all connections, all is good, nothing loose or misrouted. Everything else is working except the damn power in the doors. \

Soo, called Gadget, left a message. Then called scott at APR. He was very helpful, and was on and off the phone with me today trying to trouble shoot this odd issue. Gadget calls me back and also offers some advice. Checked; fuses, wiring, diconnected battery, unplugged entire ECU wiring, and finally removed APR and ran stock ECU = same prob.

Ok so now im like this is in no relation to the APR. Decided to use my warranty for best buy speakers installed and have them inspect the window motor and all. Well, I get there and dude is crying about how much work he got and all, so I said F it, went home and popped of door panel and holy shit the connector is just dangling. Frikin best buy pro's probably plugged it in but never insured that it clicked all the way in. Soo, after 2 mos of driving around the damn connector decides to come completely disconnected on the day I install a piggyback ECU, which is no where near its location; just to fustrate the shit out of me.

But besides all that, the APR system is outstanding. My truck romps. I swear, it is night and day ass in seat dyno. No intake, not even headers made my truck react as this ECU has done. I opened it up twice, took it to the new speed limiter, and I was a little nervous of getting arrested:eek:

You want G Force gains, APR will provide.

Will add pics and vid to my build later on.

Wanna give props to Scott from APR, Gadget from URD. Even though my delema was not install related, these two gentlemen were all about helping me out. Greatest customer service/tech support I've experienced.

    Thanks!!!
