Just replace your head gasket as a precaution and you'll be gravy.:burnrubber:

I have a buddy that boosted his at 186k and has probably 250k on it. And he drives it like a bat out of hell all the time.

Do NOT sell it....obviously if I had the $ to buy it I wouldn't say that LOL...but really slap that shit in your truck you will thank us when you don't have to constantly downshift to make it up a 5% grade....let's say worst worst worst case you did blow your engine....then sell your SC and have more than enough money to buy a new engine......problem solved!

You should invest in the URD 7th injector kit before installing it though.

Well the previous owner showed me paper work saying that the engine had a very mild rebuild, basically I think the shop just went thru it and replaced te head gaskets and studs, I really want to put the charger on my truck, if I do will I need anything else? The kit says it's complete in the instructions. I'm pretty mechanically inclined. And will it affect my mileage too bad? I ask because I drive about 110 miles a day for work

And what is the urd 7th fuel kit? Can I run the supercharger without it?

URD 7th injector is a kit from URD that has another injector to add more fuel to stop pinging and lean out that the Trd blower can and usually does on a stock tacoma. It's about another grand. I wouldn't run a blower without it. Look it up. Plenty of info on it.

You'll loose about 1-2mpg maybe. Depending on how much you keep your foot out of it.

I've been running just the sc on my truck for the past 8 months with no issues. I wouldn't worry about the 7th injector right away as it will be fine without it. Eventually it's a good idea to get the kit but for now just get a 170 degree thermostat and denso ik22 spark plugs and you should be fine.

I'll look into it, I'd really rather sale though.

You'll have to run premium fuel too! At 110 miles a day it might sting a little....little more fuel for thought for ya, ha no pun intended.
