    Ok so here's an update:
I know everyones been waiting.. I just got promoted to assisstant manager at work therefore haven't really had time to mess with this but soo far. I bought the harness from scosche that is supposed to be for a 2006 tacoma with jbl system. It took about a week to come in I tried to install it over and over with 4 different friends then took it to a stereo shop and no one knew why there was no sound. So I finally called scosche and it turns out that toyota put in 2 different jbl systems in the 06 tacomas. One is digital the other is analog off course this is not posted anywhere on anyones website! The problem we identified is that my truck is analog and the harness is for the digital one. After talking with the tech guy at scosche they sent me a replacement harness but it was the wrong harness! So there's a new one on the way. I went off on the scosche people because they're website does not tell you that there are two kinds of jbl systems! And the part number of the one they are supposed to send me is not found on the website..
Soo all the problems I'm having have nothing todo with the cheap china stereo. Its the complicated japanese's fault! Damn asians! Hahaha well I am contimplating rewiring the whole truck now it would cost me 50 bucks to rewire the speakers and it will be easier to get subs put in later if I get the rewire done...

Yeah.. But luckly I haven't had to pay for either of the two replacement harnesses or their shipping. Scosche has been good about just sending a new one out

    OK!!! IT'S FINALLY DONE!!!
oK soo I decided to wait till I had enough money for a full system to finish this up because I WAS getting very frustrated with SCOSCHE!! By the way I learned to not use their products because their tecs have no idea what they are talking about!!

Anyways here is my end result:

From talking to all the stereo shops in the area they all discouraged me from re-wiring my truck.. even thought it was more money for them they said our trucks are good to go.. so instead the common use interface is from PAC! make sure you guys go r that one from the start! I still have not played with the screen color or picture change but my Chinesse stereo works good! IPOD WORKS! DVD WORKS! and I decided to not add the gps since my GF bought me a garmin for Christmas!

Also installed was a 12inch kicker CVT slim sub in a slim box custom fit behind the seat and a JC POWER 600 watt 2 channel amp SOUNDS GREAT!!!

OVERALL I'M VERY SATISFIED WITH THE END RESULT!!!

Yeah Chris the whole issue was toyotas fault because the 2006 model has a plug in the jbl stereo harness that is in a different location on all other years so the harness don't work unless you change the location of it and then plug in the aftermarket harness
