I've read through your posts and want to add my voice to those who have welcomed you to TW. In fact you are "a breath of fresh air," and your stand for Christ at work in your life is admirable to say the least.

We all struggle, some of us more than others - as is made plain by some posts. Certain ones who struggle want nothing more than to tear down those they see as standing up for what's right. The reasons set forward indicate they're unable to deal with the thought that others overcome through faith in Christ in areas they have no control over. Don't let such persons sway you in the least from your witness for Christ or from the tasks God has set before you. You have more friends than you know, so keep up the good work and enjoy your time on TW.

Thank you for those kind words, and praise God you can say them!

I've spent time now looking the TW site over and for sure there's lots of information available to help with whatever comes along. I'll probably be more a reader than an active poster, but that's OK. Things I end up needing from this site shouldn't require much of anything except paying attention to what others have posted.

As far as getting out into the back country in my Tacoma, I'll be spending more time at the ranch and getting out with dad as he starts to feel up to such outings again. I want to continue working here in the valley, however a lot depends on how dad's health issues progress. It may be that I'll need to go home again to take care of him. My work is such that I can do everything on line, so that shouldn't be a problem. With mom having passed away some years back dad has come to depend on me more and more.

My two older brothers are both married. They continue working the ranch but their homes and families are some distance away so they drive to work, and caring for dad long distance is not working very well. He may be old but he's tough as nails and refuses to move into town. Says he wants to spend what's left of his days on earth working the place like he always has. Short of him becoming bedridden we don't anticipate that changing.

Besides it's better for him to stay where he is. Being home gives him reason to get up and get going each morning. This has seen him bounce back from health issues more quickly than he would have if he'd not been there. So life in Scottsdale may come to an end for me. If I do leave my younger brother will remain while attending school.

Well there I go again, talking someone's ear off! Sorry about that, but I just wanted to say these things to a friendly local face before this thread comes to an end. Hope you don't mind. Thanks for listening.

I know you'll do right by your dad and family. If you do have to move back home to care for him don't forget some of us here. We'll understand if you don't post very much, but at least check in now and then to let us know how things are going.

    Blessings always in Christ..

A big thank you to everyone who has welcomed me to the TW forums. Sorry for being overly defensive and a bit too vocal to begin with. Have too many things going on in my life right now, and with my tendency to want to dictate everything I can get in way too deep in a hurry. Sorry about that to anyone I may have offended. I'll do my best to settle back and relax in the future, ..as soon as I figure out how!
